Gallery Bethesda II apartments want you to show your charitable side.
At Gallery Bethesda II, we’re celebrating all the ways to give back this November. From charitable donations to volunteerism, there are so many ways to give back to your community and beyond. Here are a few to think about in this season of thanks and giving.
Become a Volunteer
An act of service is one of the best ways to give back to your community and show that you care. There are numerous places you can donate your time in Bethesda, including Bethesda Cares, which seeks to end homelessness. As a volunteer for Bethesda Cares you can help with meals for the homeless, help with office work, organize a donation drive, or be an advocate to get the word out for the cause.
Have no fear. If that isn’t your volunteer match, there are services that can help you find just the right cause to aid. The Montgomery County Volunteer Center can help you find a local organization that’s in need of your help, too.
Also, VolunteerMatch.com can help you find a place where you can use your talents to help others as well.
Donate to Charity
Between busy schedules and hectic lives, you don’t always have the spare time to volunteer. Consider a donation to your favorite charity. It’s easy, doesn’t take a lot of time, and helps others keep doing the good work that needs to be done. If you don’t have a favorite cause, check out Charity Navigator, BBB Wise Giving Alliance and Charity Watch. Each of these organizations researches charities to see how they use the money donated to them. They can steer you toward the charities that will make the most efficient use of your hard-earned dollars.
However you decide to give, we’d love to hear about it for our November contest. You could even win a $100 gift card to Harris Teeter. You can get details here.
Otherwise we hope to see you around Bethesda doing the great things you do, and maybe even stop by Gallery Bethesda II for a tour and reward your charitable side with a beautiful, new apartment.
